Breakfast and Showers

NVCS' Breakfast and Showers program offers a hot breakfast and shower to individuals without housing. Our program is available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. In 2020 alone, we were able to provide 6,383 hot showers to those in need.

Our breakfast program offers the opportunity for homeless families to receive a hot morning meal to start their day. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve had a 30% increase in meals, allowing us to distribute an average of about 3,600 prepared meals per month. Each meal is made using fresh ingredients and is never deep fried; all meals are prepared in house. Due to COVID-19, the breakfast program has shifted from indoor dining to “grab and go.”

Shower Facilities

NVCS offers 15 minute showers onsite to local homeless individuals. Our shower rooms are spacious enough to accommodate an entire family or larger items such as wheelchairs, shopping carts, or bicycles. For those who may need longer than 15 minutes, our showers are also available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Body wash, towels, and toiletries are provided on-site for use.

Want to get involved with NVCS? Volunteers are always welcomed and encouraged to help prepare and serve our community during the breakfast program. Donations are highly appreciated in supplying shower necessities for those in need.
