Are you looking for a way for your business, church, club, school or group to make an impact in your community? We have lots of ways you can do that! Plus we LOVE to create custom opportunities for Corporate Days of Service or employee engagement. Get in touch with us to share your ideas of how you want to give back!
Corporate Days of Service
We love hosting CSR days and employee teams on-site at NVCS. Our Friday Food Pantry is an incredible opportunity for your employees to jump right in and feed the community -- and at the same time share their passion for giving back. Don't forget to stay for our community lunch (it's our way of saying thank you for volunteering!)
Host a Donation Drive
Donation drives are a great way for you to get involved in giving back. Get in touch with us to let us know you are hosting a drive and we will provide you with a flyer of the items we suggest. Create your drive and share with anyone and everyone you know! Arrange to drop off your donations at NVCS. Share the love by tagging @nvcsinc on your posts!

Here are a few ideas:
-
Food drive (from canned foods to fruit snacks!)
-
Clothing drive (urgent need for gently used and new mens clothing - especially boxers!)
-
Back to school supplies (backpacks and school supplies)
-
Hygiene kits (always a big need!)
Cook a Meal
Each week our Homeless Outreach team deliver hot, home-cooked meals to families living in local motels and individuals in encampments. The need far exceeds the resources, so we are always looking for churches and groups to help us by committing to preparing, cooking and dropping off a hot, home-cooked meal that we can package and deliver to families and individuals experiencing homelessness.
Can you help? Commit to a one-off meal, one Wednesday every month, or one Thursday every month for our Safe Parking clients.
Wednesday meal - to feed 150 people
Thursday meal - to feed 40 people
Next Steps:
Get in touch with us to let us know what day you want to provide a meal. We will provide you with the drop off info!
Our volunteer portal is powered by Galaxy Digital!
Here's how it works:
Our volunteer portal gives you the opportunity to browse through ways that you can volunteer.
Create an account through our portal to be able to sign up for projects, track your hours, and check your upcoming schedule. This is also done through our mobile app called CauseConnect, available through the App Store and Google Play.
Questions? Need help signing up? We want you on our team! Contact NVCS at info@nvcs.org or (818) 891-0481
